Just a quick note to let you know I'm really enjoying the gorgeous teas. So far, I'm hard-pressed to choose a favourite. I think the chai tea lip balm is wonderful. I like a good, strong flavour and this doesn't disappoint. It also tastes quite natural, and I would imagine tea is hard to duplicate into a flavour oil. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I'm glad you asked if I liked the dog shampoo. It got me motivated and I just got through giving him a bath. I posted a review but had to email you anyway to tell you how much I liked it. The lather is great. I used very little to get enough lather to cover him. With the stuff you buy in the store it seemed like we would us a fourth of a bottle to get enough lather and it was still a wimpy lather. This is the best smelling dog shampoo I have ever used. I'm going to have to try them all now. Thanks for offering such great products to choose from.

Gaia's Grace

Hello Rachel - I just wanted to say thank you again for working with Cia in order to continue to provide the wonderful fragrance.

I have received so many compliments from people and I didn't know what I would do if Gaia's Grace was no longer available. I wear the fragrance everyday, and people always comment "wow you smell just like you came out of the shower", "what IS that fragrance?".

Rave About Scent By Spirit

Good Morning!

I wanted to take a moment and share a rave review with you about Rachel at Scent by Spirit.

Most of you who know me are aware that I am a Diet Coke addict (read - it pulses through my veins!). I recently ordered some teas from Rachel, and while I love all of them -- I have to say my favorite is the Cinna Blast Iced Tea.

When I was a little girl, my Gram used to make homemade applesauce, and she always added oil of cinnamon to it. I can remember sitting at the counter "helping" -- which usually entailed sampling the oil of cinnamon despite my Gram's warnings not to do so.

I made up some of this tea over the weekend, and sweetened it with honey from Becky (from The Soap Dish). I was immediately transported back -- that warm, spicy aroma filled the whole kitchen - - and the tea was simply amazing. I am embarrassed to say I have nearly polished off half the pitcher myself....

I always try to support our fellow members -- I can't say enough nice things about Rachel. And, I am grateful to find something else to drink that I enjoy as much as my Diet Coke!

I can't find the particular teas which I've bought or received from you, so I'll do my review this way, 'cause I think you need to know how great they are!

Fairy Tale (swapped):
Not what I expected, but delightful. Not too sweet, fruity--- a nice surprise. I didn't think I'd like the combination of chocolate, yogurt, and peppermint, but it's pretty darn good!

Huckleberries and Cream (purchased):
Wonderful aroma and delicious flavor--- I was surprised there weren't actual huckleberries in it! And definitely creamy in taste, too!

Chinese and Japanese Cherries (purchased):
One of my favorites! Heavenly aroma and flavor--- do you still have this? My toddler son is making it difficult to locate things on your website..... Anyway, this is one of the few green teas I adore, with real cherries and rose petals in it--- I cannot say enough about it!

Creamy Strawberry (swapped):
Absolute favorite so far!! I'm actually tempted to pick the strawberry pieces out after brewing so that I can eat them! Another one I'd love to keep drinking, if I can just find it!

Anyway, Rachel, I'll definitely be back for more tea when I can!

Forget coffee...

How did I go so long without knowing about Scent by Spirit teas? I recently ordered a variety of teas, and so far, every single one that I have tried has been robust, rich and delicious. Tea, cocoa and more!

Oh my goodness I'm living high on your teas and cocoa! I can't believe how fresh everything is and that tea brewer is the coolest thing ever. I do have a "new" recipe for you.

Steep coffee in the tea brewer. Pour into a LARGE mug along with the Aztec Cocoa, and Milk. Stir and then add some Kahlua and voila a body treatment like no other.

Hi!

The first product of yours that I tried was the custom blended oil. The process was fun, but I waited anxiously for "MY" oil to arrive. When it came, I opened it immediately, took a good long breathful and was rewarded with the most wonderful scent in the world, to me! I was immediately transported to a lovely green meadow, surrounded by hills with trees. The sun was shining and there were big white billowy clouds in the sky. I could smell all the grass, the flowers, the trees, and yet there was also another scent, that was just mine. It was perfect.

How Rachel was able to come up with the perfect scent is beyond me. Then, I looked at my reading. How could she have possibly been in my mind and body to know exactly what was going on in my life at that moment? I was mesmerized. She really "hit the nail on the head", and I have kept that reading, and re-read it many times. And applied its wisdom.

I came back, to look at more products, and just bought and received the Isis lotion and perfume and soap - and I must say that this is also a DELICIOUS scent! It is sensual without hitting you up against the head with it. I love it. I bought the grapefruit shea balm for my daughter who has exczema, and we'll see how that helps her with that affliction. I'm very excited to get my shower this morning with the Isis soap, and then the lotion and then the perfume. I should feel heavenly afterwards!

I have never been a tea drinker, but I think I am going to try some of the herbal teas and the vanilla moon powder for sweetness.

I love your products and tell everyone about them.

The Blueberry tea is outstanding--it has the luscious flavor of fruit without descending into candy-like silliness.

I find the Honey tea very cozy but it's also sophisticated enough that I'd serve it as an after-dinner treat. I just have to remember not to steep it too long because I prefer delicacy over richness when it comes to honey. Three and a half minutes is about right for the flavor I want from this cup--a warm, sensual tea that evokes nostalgia for times I never lived in, and puts me in mind of a sunny meadow when the dew has dried and the bees are getting drowsy. Mmmmm.

Just Got My Order

I got my order yesterday! woohoohooo! Thank you so much for more yummy tea!

I had all the different teas sitting in front of us and asked Sam to pick one. Opened each tin and had him take a smell.

Depression Relief Tea

I do not look forward to the changing seasons, winter due to seasonal affective disorder. I ordered depression relief,and take a cup when I'm down. It lifts my spirits, and no side effects to boot. I look forward to my daily ritual.

You have become my only source for teas! I have always been an avid tea drinker however never as much as after I tried your teas. Om Shanti: Reeeeeally Relaxing!

Hi hi! I just got my first SBS shipment about a week and a half ago, and I am totally in love! The tea is almost gone ... I smell great from head to toe ... and I'm exercising some serious restraint in not buying one of everything for myself!

Anyway, I wanted to share an anecdote about the Om Shanti perfume. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with GAD -- Generalized Anxiety Disorder -- for which I take a handful of pills every day to stave off panic attacks. For someone with GAD, a lot of time is spent trying to learn to relax. And I've found that a lot of products labeled "relaxing" or "soothing" or "peaceful" really ... aren't. They're just stinky, which makes me more uptight, because I end up *just as* anxious PLUS I'm stinky!

I'll be honest: When I placed my order, I got the Om Shanti perfume only because it was on sale. The ingredients sounded intriguing and it wasn't going to break the pocketbook. I threw it in my cart and checked out without much thought. One day last week, before I came to work, I put some on ... and I had a decent un-anxious day. "Ha ha," I thought. "What are the odds that I'd have a good day on the day I wore the perfume whose name means 'Peace'?" The next day, I wore my normal perfume, and I had a normal day -- full of stress, gritted teeth and panic pills.

My cogs started to turn. Could it be? Had I found a product that calmed my nerves without doping me up? I decided to put it to the real test: Wait until I was really stressed out, put some on, and see how I reacted. So Monday, I came into work wearing no perfume. By lunch time I was ready to take my panic meds, but I instead reached for the Om Shanti. And to my amazement, within 30 minutes, I was feeling back to normal. No, I was feeling *better* than normal -- I was feeling good. I've worn it every day since, and I haven't taken a single panic pill in four days. That $4 bottle of perfume did a heckuva lot more than a couple of hundred dollars of "relaxing" bath and body products stuck under my bathroom counter. I'm a believer.

I loved every single product Rachel sent me ... but her perfume has put her in a category by herself -- my scent guru. I'm going to take the plunge and let her do a custom oil blend for me.

Anyway, I thought you guys would like to know how well it works.
