Thoughts on Tea

Reverence, Awe, Ageless, and Mystical, I have stumbled upon the Holy Grail, which is TEA. Provinces of China, Japan, India and Africa, as well as many other exotic places, nurture their tea gardens, growing, tending, and handpicking, getting ready for their destinations across the globe. It amazes me how something so simple, yet complex, has rooted itself so deep in history, and has never went out of style. Its interesting how teas have their own personalities, like comforting friends, each with its own character, from subtle to sublime, from sweet to bold, and many in between. Some in passing and some that stay constant, flavors, scents, and colors amazing the senses, shape shifting according to mood. Yet it comes down to what it originally is, something that has tempted kings and commoners alike for centuries, such as what I am sipping in my cup, the unassuming Tea Leaf.

Thank you to Tracy for contributing her personal thoughts around tea. If you have a piece you would like to contribute, please email us for consideration.
